In the mean time, a lone figure sat on the roof tops, a gun held tightly in his sweaty hands. He was used to this kind of dirty work, but now the job had become twice as hard. Assassinating someone less important was easier then assassinating someone everyone was after. Someone, like the leader of a drug cartel. Blue knew with one wrong move he would be dead within seconds. He took a deep staggering, and calming breath of the frigid night air. His finger held the trigger steady, his blue eyes watching everything happening at one time. He took a deep breath and got ready to pull the trigger. Come on Blue... He thought to himself quietly, reassuring himself. Sure, one wrong move could mean your death, but you've survived the gang, you can survive this, besides... At least my death will be quick and painless... Better then living this own personal Hell of mine in this gang. I can do this... He took a steady aim to the leader's forehead, the gun not even quivering in his hand, a sudden calmness claimed him and suddenly his fear dissipated, everything was numb. His hand slowly pulled the trigger-...
"Don't forget." A sly sneaky voice came from behind him, startling him, right before he could completely pull the trigger. It was his cruel and bitter leader, Jagger. "Gosh damn it, Jagger!" Blue sat up quickly with fear and was more alarmed then before. He spun around to face his skinny, but lethal leader. "What the hell? I was just about to pull the trigger and-" His mouth began to water at the thought of blood spewing all over the place, his deadly self instantly taking over. He sneered quietly, his canines glittering eerily in the light of the full moon. Sure, he hadn't always been like this. He used to be very kind and gentle, sweet and generous, until his parents had died in front of him, no... Had been tortured and then killed in front of him, and he had then later been separated from his brother that he always used to take care of. Who COULD blame him for changing? He had to be tough. Though by now he had grown used to killing, it was nothing but a game to him now, the harder it was, the more fun to him it was. The more fun he had. He was in it for the thrill and the adrenaline rush of the kill.
"It doesn't matter, B. You know what will happen to you if you miss this target-" As he talked, Blue put his eyes back in the scope ad kept a good eye on his target. Being known as the perfect shot as the perfect sniper did have it's advantages. But the more Jagger talked to him, the more time he lost between the blood spewing all over and the more the drug lord escaped. He found himself growing very impatient of Jagger's on going mouth and growling bitterly. "Yes, yes, I know this!" Blue hissed impatiently turning around to glare at Jagger. Jagger grabbed him by the collar of his shirt and yanked him to him so that they were face to face. "Listen kid, I was just trying to remind you about the consequences of your failure! Remember who raised you, remember who allowed you to grow to the highest of their ranks, DON'T bite the hand that feeds you!" Blue stared coolly into Jagger's dark piercing eyes, then within seconds Jagger tossed him to the ground and spun around, but Blue being slightly quicker, landed on his feet and snorted with disdain. He growled and spat in Jagger's direction when his back was completely turned. Stupid Jagger, one day I WILL show him up, and I WILL kill him as well. Boy would I give to see HIS head in my scope! Time after time again he had dreamt and had fantasies of Jagger dying by HIS gun, or by HIS fists, or by HIS blade. Ah the blood! His precious blood all over me and at my feet! Would I be in glory! Blood, Blood, all over the place, blood as red as rubies, blood as red as death roses! he laughed quietly as he focused his eyes back into the scope once more.
Slowly he surveyed the area, but there was no sign of the ol'drug lord. He howled with rage and anger toward Jagger who let him miss HIS prey that he needed to kill before the end of the night or else it would be his death. "Damn you, Jagger!" His voice cried out to the heavens. he sighed and rose once more. Well... A whole day of searching and when I finally found him and came so close to killing him-... Graah! Stupid Jagger! Quickly he jumped from roof top to roof top. He was also known to be very flexible and agile, very quick, almost like a shadow. He was great at hiding in the shadows just like a chameleon and jumping long distances. He almost seemed inhuman. He paused as a cold breeze blew and bit and nibbled at his flesh. The moonlight played an eerie effect on the city below. Against him, it made him look very ominous and dangerous, again, almost inhuman, but very powerful. His black haired turned silver in the lighting and his blue streaks glow white. He felt a smile slowly form upon his lips. "It's not that bad." He said to himself in a gentle whisper that seemed to be like the breeze itself. "After all, it can't be that hard to find him again... He couldn't have gone to far." His midnight blue eyes glow with an eager light, eager that the hunt has began once more, that the hunter was on the prowl once more. Though if you looked closer, you could see a burning hate, a burning hate for Jagger. Hate for the whole gang who had turned him and taken his brother away from him, well.. Accept for one person, but that didn't matter right now. Blue sighed. No time for moping around now, Blue... I've got a target to find before twelve a.m exactly...
The moonlight shown down his his dark red coat making it look like blood spattered all over him. The white of the fur around his hood appeared Silver. Still, he had no luck with finding his target. He had lost it for good, for he had been searching for hours it seemed. Slippery little demon, eh? Hnn... I guess that's it then... No more leads on the trail. He's a very sly person, he is... Blue sighed heavily and plopped down on the ground in a darkened alley way, that smelt of putrid trash and death. He glanced up toward the sky with a hopeful longing expression. For once, his soft side showing through. "Oh, Red... At least your in a better place now... I wish I was there too... I might just be joining you soon if I can't find this drug lord... He looked down the alleyway, lost in deep thought. Even though it wasn't as pretty as the black and midnight blue sky above twinkling with stars that shined like little diamonds in the sky, something had caught his attention. A little black note book was laying on the ground. He titled his head quietly and blinked in confusion. Slowly he stood up and walked over toward it. "What's this?" He muttered as he picked up the Death Note and looked it over. Death Note...? He read allowed in question. "Heh funny... Crude and morbid humor... I would like to meet this person." He sneered quietly and flipped through it. "Hm, nothings been written in it... What a pity, that is... If it's true." He paused for a second, now feeling as if he was being watched. He set his ears in tune with everything around him, and with hearing almost as good as a dogs, he listened, encrypting the footsteps seeing if anyone was around him. When he realized he was probably just being paranoid he shrugged it off. "Heh, such a stupid little note..." He sighed. "If only such a thing did exist." he dropped the notebook on the ground again and walked a little bit of ways before he paused again. It can't be true... Not such a thing exists... That's not possible, not reality...
He went to leave the cold alley way until suddenly he head a deep voice behind him. "What? Your not going to use it?"
"Huh?! Blue spun around though saw no one around him. "Yeah, real funny guys, seriously, stop it. I have a job to attend to, not foolish games." Blue growled quietly toward the shadows, believing it was the gang members, but he paused when a thought interrupted him and made his blood run cold. Wait... I didn't hear their foot steps, something is wrong... What the hell?
"Your no fun... I thought you would be more interesting then that, Blue. Or should I call you B?" It sounded as if whoever it was, was mocking him, makign fun of him for knowing something no one, not even himself, knew or remembered. "W-who are you!?" Blue snarled into the dark alley once more, baring his slight fangs. "Show yourself, coward!" His hands gripped his specially made sniper gun, that made no sound when it shot. He got a cackle of deep wild laughter as a response. "It would be such a shame to kill someone like you. And that gun will have no effect on my human." Blue closed his eyes trying to pin point the exact location of the voice and quickly spun around and froze, all the color drained away from his face. A giant thing stood not only inches away from him. It was tall, but appeared mostly human. But that wasn't the crazy thing, it wore a bone mask, and his hands and toes were webbed together. That wasn't the most frightening thing though, behind him, he held a giant scythe that seemed to have HIS name etched all over it. Blue took in a deep breath trying to calm himself, his thoughts reeling in his head. Am I dead? No, No... I didn't die, I didn't get shot... I must be asleep, I must be dreaming... Why is the grin reappear here, in MY dreams?!"Hm, interesting... I've never met a human with ears as good as yours..." Said the Grim Reaper, then he smiled slightly. "Where's your bravado now, B?" Blue said nothing, he felt as if his tongue had swollen in his mouth. "But for the most part, why don't you try out that little notebook? I mean after all... what harm could it do? I've done the honors of sending after your gang, they should be here any minute ready to kill you. But I guess if you don't want it, I can take it back and watch you die. After all... No skin off my bones. Kyukyukyu." he had a very awqward laugh to Blue's ears. He walked over and picked the Death Note up off the ground and slowly began to disappear...
"No, wait!"
Blue suddenly felt all the color run back into his face, his heart began to beat once more, he felt as if he had thawed out and could breathe, as if he wasn;t frozen in time any more and now was able to move. "Hmm?" The reaper turned around to face him, a smile clear on his face, a smile of death. "I... Who are you?
"Heh, you wouldn't believe me even if I told you."
"I... I think I'll believe anything at this moment." Blue said quietly, all cockiness from before gone. he watched the reaper careful with his all knowing blue eyes. His emotions and thoughts where still reeling inside his head, like a tornado of confusion and disaster, he knew nothing any more. he couldn't decipher truth from fake. "Oh really? The reapers smile widened into an inhuman smile suddenly. "I am a shinigami." everything went silent for a long moment. The only sound was the cold icy wind whistling through the alley in a low moan. Suddenly, Blue smiled, no, not just a normal smile, but one that slightly imitated the shinigami's, and slowly he held out his hands which no longer trembled. "Oh, you want it now?" Blue nodded quietly, still slightly unable to talk. "Fine, it's all yours. The shinigami handed over the Death Note without a word of disapproval. Blue grabbed dit and held it close to his chest, digging through his coat pocket and then his trench coat that he wore over it. "A...Are you positive I can have it?" Another laugh from the human-like shinigami. "Of course. If I didn't want it, I wouldn't just left it here. Or I could have just killed you." Blue wasn't effected by the threat. "Is there anything I should know about this, shinigami?" "Eh, the rules are inside of it, read 'um, learn 'um, and memorize them yourself, kid." Suddenly they both heard yells and shouts. "I think he's this way! He quickly distinguished the rough voice from the others, it was Jagger's, leading them like usual. "Kyukyukyukyu." The shinigami laughed. "This outta be fun." Blue heard the foot steps growing closer and closer. he knew they were running which was unusual, and he also could tell by the sound of their shouts, that they were coming for blood. To be more precise, his blood. "What did you tell them?!" Blue asked, quickly trying to read over the rules. "Nothing much, I just sent a dying comrade of yours to your leader saying you attacked him, and Jagger was next." Blue felt his blood run cold once more, but found himself sneering about the whole situation. "Your a smart shinigami.. I'm glad I got to meet you."
"What? Claiming it's over already?"
"Oh, quite the opposite my friends. It's only just begun!"
"Heh, just as I thought... You've got spirit kid, I like that. And I've NEVER said that to someone before." and suddenly, they appeared. Jagger in the lead, holding out a pistol an animistic glow in his eyes. "B!" He called out to him in a blood chilling yell. Blue quickly turned around to face him. But instead, he had a barrel of the pistol straight in his face.
"You son of a bitc-" Someone laid a hand on Jagger's shoulder, it slightly seemed to calm him. "Why??" He snarled. His face only inches away from Blue's. "Why did you kill him? Why are you betraying us, Blue?! We brought you into this gang and took care of you-... And you turn against us like this?! You were our best sniper-!!..."
"But Jagger-!" Blue began, but he was quickly silenced with a gesture from Jagger's hand. "But, no matter...Now... Now I'm not leaving without your blood covering the walls and ground, tonight." Blue quickly opened up the Death Note and took a deep breath, and then quickly began to write-

Before he could finish, Jagger snarled. "What are you writing, B?"
"Nothing." Yet he still continued to write frantically, trying to hurry. So far he had-
Jagger Mcclain- Dies'
Again, he was interrupted. "Look at me, B... Look at me when I'm talking to you!" Suddenly a gun shot rang out and echoed around the alley. Blue suddenly felt the pain of the bullet that hat entered his right shoulder blade. Pain, an every flowing river of pain and blood squirted and spewed from the wound. The sharp searing pain ran up along his body everywhere, putting every nerve in his body on edge, making it just hurt worse. Bells rang in his ears from the pain as he slowly looked down. Blood began to seep through his crimson red coat from his wound. The blood he so longed to see, was his own. His own blood, like dead rose petals, began to fall to the ground. The 'rose petals' soon surrounded his feet in a puddle, and it was his blood that slowly caressed his arm in warm streaks and dropped of his hand. he couldn't move his whole arm. From then on out everything went by in like a dream like state. His whole body felt numb and his mind went blank, time seemed to stand still. But just as soon as the moment came, it passed, suddenly he felt everything again and held his tongue, trying to hold back the cry of pain. He clenched his teeth together and ground them, slowly reaching out with his left hand to grab the Death Note, and using his left hand again, while on the ground with his limp right arm, he finally was able to finish it, in the longest minutes of his life.
Jagger Mcclain- Dies when buildings collapse ontop of him.
Then he continued, writing all the gang members names in the Death Note and the same detail over and over and over again, all accept one... He realized who was in the middle of them all- Bee. The only person and the last person the gang accepted into the gang. And the youngest. Bee had done nothing to him to deserve this kind of fate.
The buildings around them began to tremble and shake, the foundations beneath began to crumble and fall apart. He realized if he stayed he too would die in the rubble and the apartments would destroy him as well. He stood up weakly, already his body suffering from loss of blood, but he ran out of the alley way, his shinigami following closely after him. When running past all the dazed gang members, he grabbed Bee's hand and drug her out of the alley just as the buildings collapsed on top of them all, saving hers and he's life. He collapsed within seconds onto the ground trembling from the pain that had worsened ten fold from him jolting it like he had. He held his arm in a deadly silence for a long time. keeping his Death Note hidden in the inside pocket of his trench coat. "Wow.... That's quiet a blow you got there kid." The shinigami muttered quietly staring him over. Blue smiled quietly and answered him, knowing that Bee couldn't hear him over the loud noise of the falling aparetments. "Aw, this thing?... It doesn't face me one bit." He managed to say in between gasps of pain and his clenched teeth. He earned a smile from the shinigami. "Well.. I must say, kid... You've done enough to earn my name. my name is Dellidovely. And I too am glad to find a great owner like you for my Death Note." B let his smile grow into a grin, an evil grin of power, but intelligence. "Looks like we're a team then, Dellidovely... My name... Is B."Aka; The new Kira.
(I picture this will be all over the news too, and B is going to right a note later and place it on top of the rubble saying that 'The game has just begun, L. Do you think you can play it again? - Kira.' Written in someone else's blood.)
"Don't forget." A sly sneaky voice came from behind him, startling him, right before he could completely pull the trigger. It was his cruel and bitter leader, Jagger. "Gosh damn it, Jagger!" B let his smile grow into a grin, an evil grin of power, but intelligence.
